Installation Notes
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the factory fuel gas tank door with rubbing alcohol to remove grease, wax, and road dust; ensure it is completely dry.
- Test fit the trim cap over the gas tank door to verify alignment prior to removing the adhesive backing.
- Peel off the protective film from the pre-applied heavy-duty double-sided adhesive tape (warming the tape slightly with a hairdryer in cooler weather will enhance adhesion).
- Align the cover precisely and press firmly across the surface for 1–2 minutes to establish a secure bond.
- Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing it to direct moisture for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
